Just noticed something. Hey, Mr. E., have you considered asking one of the Mods to change your Award title from "Mel Kiper Jr." to maybe "Mike Mayock Jr." or something along those lines? A Mel Kiper Award is sort of like an insult a little bit, no?
Mr.E's opinion is well-respected here...because he spends a lot of time researching prospects and studies the game. If you peruse thru the draft forum and read through the majority of his posts (and others like Jabba the Jet and WW85) you might learn something. Anyways, this point has been beaten to death already. Stop trying to mask you own shortcomings by accusing other posters of supposedly worshipping another poster. Meanwhile, they're just learning or appreciating the knowledge he's providing the board.
Getting Jason Campbell or Brady Quinn is just what the JETS need to do. Campbell is 27 and Quinn is 24. These guys would come in and there wouldn't be anymore QB questions for the JETS.
I used to like his opnions...until he called on me calling me a non-Jets fan just because Cowboys were my second favorite team. And I really did not appreciate that. Its not like Cowboys are in the AFCE or even the AFC. If someone's gonna pick on me, I'll pick on them, regardless of what he does or knows.
So we disagree with someone because our feelings got hurt? That somehow doesn't reflect well on you in the end, in which case no one ends up taking you seriously. And the Cowboys? WTF...
That was my point exactly about Washington. Their running game carried the load. Clinton Portis carried the load and they couldn't score points with a great running game and a top 5 D. What makes you think our run game and D will score more points with him not throwing TD's than Washington's did last year? As bad as Favre was he still produced way more points and way more TD's than Campbell did.
I was just about to say that Campbell doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would demand a trade, but I just read on rotoworld that he would in fact demand a trade if Sanchez is brought in. Well I guess that would weaken Washington's position a little.
I think we should trade for Campbell if the Redskins get Sanchez. But my draft expectations for this year is keep the 17 pick get a RB or TE. Then trade back into the 1st round or higher into the 2nd round and draft either the TE or RB that we didn't draft in the first. Then trade back into the 2nd for a WR since there are alot of good potential prospects. Or just trade for Campbell after we get the TE and RB
i think if they got sanchez i think campbell would come cheap... i will once reiterate how awesome a QB like campbell would be for us
Whats so insane it is plausable. because we need a RB and TE. WR we can hold off on since Keller is still a legitamate reciever. Getting that blocking TE would help so much in the run game while still putting Keller on opposite side as a reciever. It fills 2 holes needed on offense. While still giving us a possible chance to get campbell.
