With the first round pick we should stay put and Take the best player availible or trade down to get more picks. IMO that guy may be Knowshon Moreno RB or Everet Brown DE Second round we should take Ron Brace NT And set up a rotation to keep Jenkins fresh. Third round: The best reciever is that is left, Someone will fall there are alot in this draft and teams will try to fit a need instead of taking the best player. Fourth round: Quinn TE edit: added names to 6th and 7th rounds 6th round Joel Bell OT or Rich Brewster OT 7th Round John Parker Wilson
If you're going to do a mock, at least name one player in each round. Everette Brown will be gone by our pick and more than likely Moreno will be too. 52 may be a little high for Ron Brace, but drafting a rotational NT is a smart move. I don't know if any receiver will be worth it in the third - the top eight to ten guys should be gone - maybe draft a wideout in the second and a defensive lineman like Dorrell Scott in the third? Richard Quinn in the 4th would be a solid choice, but he may not be there. Bear Pascoe and Anthony Hill will be good fall back options. I don't necessarily want a "project" QB unless it's Brian Hoyer of Michigan State and he'll be gone before the 7th. Maybe we take him in the sixth?
I didn't give names for the late rounds because it is a crap shoot but I will pick a couple for you to fill it in. Also I think Brace is a NT not a tackle and we need a NT that is why I was thinking 2rd for him. It's about where most mocks have him.
I called Brace a rotational NT is my post - there may just be much better value at running back or wideout especially if Robiskie and McCoy manage to fall to 52.
I was not calling you out on Brace being a NT but impling that there are only a few true NT's in this draft and as such explaining my thinking of why he is worth the 52 pick.
