3 years and 36 million, 3rd pitcher in the line up (correct me if im wrong on the last part), he is a big part of the problem. the starting pitching is one big problem.
At least I can see him having good days at least half the time, Pelfrey and Maine are far more serious problems
Manuel looked pissed in the postgame interview....good for him though with changing around the lineup, they certainly need some type of spark.
good thing Omar improved the team. replenishing the bullpen sure addressed the teams inability to drive runners in, get clutch hits, and deliver consistent offensive pressure all around. I don't think pitchers even sweat if they put on one or two batters against the Mets.
According to CBSSports, Cliff Lee might get traded. I don't expect him to duplicate his '08 season, but he'd be a great get for us. He would be the #2, and the AL to NL change would definitely help him. We need changes in the rotation if the guys don't pick it up, that's just a fact.
