    If it was the 9th inning and the game-winner or maybe even tying it in the 9th or later or something, fine, curtain call. But it was 7th inning in the 10th game of the season. It was obviously because of his 500th homerun. The guy is an asshole and a known roid user.

    I have absolutely no problem cheering for him and shit after he hit the HR because it was for the good of the Mets, but a curtain call? No. He's a cheater.

    The guy has exactly 1 freaking HR for this franchise.... he deserves no curtain call. He's a piece of shit... always will be.

    I saw the Twins designated Phil Humber for assignment... any intrest in picking him back up :rofl:

    I don't understand all the hate for Sheffield on here, he just hit his 500th HR that tied the game, he deserved a curtain call. I have a feeling he could end up being a big player for the Mets this year, if not there was no downside to signing him, only upside.

    Good win last night with Santana going today.

    Nice. The first time I put Daniel Murphy into the starting lineup of my Key West Rams/Oilers team and it appears he won't play much.

    Wow, it seems that the new ballpark has cut down on TGG Mets game threads.

    Tatis and Sheffield both making defensive plays without dropping th ball.
