    the first seven games have only reaffirmed my outlook for the team going into the season. I'm glad that outlook wasn't very high.

    Probably not. For know, I'd chalk two outfield drops up to flukes. They still have the best defensive centerfielder in the game, a plus left side of the infield, and more than adequate guys in right and behind the plate.

    when the Marlins have an infield of Dan Uggla, Hanley Ramirez, Jorge Cantu, and Emilio Bonifacio, I say no.

    Oh yeah, and Anibal Sanchez is in the rotation. :rofl:

    Even if there wasn't a team as bad defensively as Florida or Washington, the Mets are nowhere near the bottom of baseball in defense. Beltran, Wright, and Reyes at three key spots.

    Is it just me, or do we hit as well as the other team does every game so far, regardless of whether they score 8 on us or 1? Either way, Ollie is impressing right now.

    hopefully the mets will get through their rotation once or twice this year without having 2 completely terrible starts.

    has castro made contact with the ball yet this year? if this is the "slimmed down" version of castro there's really no reason to keep him around

    We need one run in the bottom of the 9 with Murphy-Wright-Delgado up. Can we do it?
