Probably requires our first and a third. I say go for it. What say you? Dolphins are supposedly interested. Chad and this guy could be dangerous. Better us than them.
+1 totally agree. Besides....I think the Cardinals would want the farm for him. We need the picks to shore up the depth on this team.
As much as I'd like to see him on the team, we shouldn't give the draft for him. We have other issues to address as well.
Giants are going to get Braylon Edwards, Boldin reportedly said he would like to play for the dullphins argh T.O./Lee Evans on the Bills, Randy Moss and Wes Welker on the Pats and Boldin on the Dolphins? wtf defense would seriously be tested this season
+1 It wouldn't even have to be us being one WR away from doing anything. It would have to be us specifically being one Anquan Boldin away from doing anything to justify this trade. We're not winning the Super Bowl this year. Keep the picks and build the offense.
Just say NO. This team doesn't need Boldin at the cost - what, Cards would want the whole fucking farm for a WR. Not happening.
I know we're not a WR away from anything but having a solid WR with NFL experience will let whoever our QB is have a nice security blanket. I'd do a 1st this year and a 2nd next.
Oh c'mon. The Jets picked up Izzo and Sheopard. We're right there with everyone else in the division. Plus, we have 3 future HOF QBs on the roster that are ready to run the "all-weather" O by handing it off to anyone with all 10 fingers. 4-12 anyone?
Wouldn't give up the farm for him, but if we can nab him for our first and a much lower pick then it might be worth looking into.
Boldin >>> Edwards But he wants more money than we can afford. His current contract is definitely cap friendly, but that's why he wants out of Arizona. 2009: $2.75 million 2010: $3 million He probably wants somewhere in the $7-$10 million a year range.
