I don't think it would be a who....more like a what...like other draft picks....which would turn into a who after they got picked.....

I don't think Kellen would be considered a dud.....he wasn't a first rounder, and has never played in a situation in which he should be successful. He played in a situation where neither he nor our previous starter who made the playoffs this year could be successful...even if we draft Sanchez, Clemens will likely start and we'll then be able to determine if he is a dud.....if Clemens loses the job in camp, he is a dud.

I do not want Josh Freeman, and would rather have Sanchez, but my biggest preference is that we draft the player who is most likely to have an impact this season ....and the chances are that a QB will not be that guy. I'd be happy with a Corner or a DE.

Would you really mortgage your future on a QB you think will only be decent.

Moving from #17 to #9 would require our 1st and our 2nd. That's about equal value, leaving us about 20 points short. So, instead of taking a chance with one pick, we've now thrown two in for a player at a position of questionable need. However you feel about Kellen and/or Brett, there's really no proof that either one will fail/succeed. If one of them has a good season this year and we've lost the chance to solidify two positions, I won't be pleased.

I bet it would be like our first, our second and we swap second day picks or something.

I think it will be costly because the payment is flirting with the magnitude of what it would have taken to get Cutler in here and Sanchez has zero NFL experience.

More likely, it would be our 6th rounder going in straight up. Either way, I hate this idea.

Sanchez's coming to the Jets is still a long shot. Never mind that Clemens still hasn't had a fair shot at the QB position.I'll be surprised if the Jets make the move to get him . Moving up in to the top 10 will cost us this year's 1,this year's 2 and quite possibly next year's 1 or 2.Although if they feel this is their Guy,the QB to take us to an SB then push all the chips in to the center and get this deal done!

    Don't we have 3 QBs?

This would be a stupid move. The guy is unproven and I wouldn't want to give up picks for him. Now if it was Stafford that is another story.

If he is from the future and can travel through time please go back to 1985 and tell me to support the Patriots (despite their incredibly piss poor helmet design at the time) instead - thanks.
