    Jets:

    1) QB Josh Freeman--says word is the Jets really like him.
    2) RB LeSean McCoy
    3) WR Louis Murphy

He has us passing on Gilbert in round 2, which would make me very angry.

If we take Freeman, I just may vomit all over myself.

I'm throwing my remote, my beer, and the chair I'll be sitting on if we take Josh Freeman in the first round. Then I'm throwing my radio out the window if I hear that we pass on Gilbert in round 2. Although McCoy might make me feel a little better if Gilbert is gone before we pick.

Gilbert is over-rated so hard on this board. I bit on some of the hype at first, then I watched some of his games in college, he isn't that great. Combine warrior.

WR, DE, QB, RB I think with the first 3 picks we wil address three out of these four needs. I really hope we don't draft a QB but all this talk about the Jets staff high on Freeman is worrying me. McCoy and Murphy I like as picks...
I think the best possible draft is:
    Maclin, Gilbert, Greene
    followed closely by:
    Moreno, Gilbert, Murphy
    or:
Britt, Gilbert, Greene if we trade down with our 1st.
TIme will tell... only 10 days left 'till the draft :)

Would be delighted with Murphy in the 3rd, we nab Gilbert in the 2nd, and then maybe we can trade down in the first, get Donald Brown and pick up another couple later round picks

Rex conducted his Pro Day so if we pass on him, there's a reason.

However, I can't see taking McCoy in the second over both Gilbert and Greene...

McCoy is faster than Greene, but Greene is a sledgehammer that gets tougher as the game goes on.....

Passing on Sean Smith in round two would make me even more angry. If a talent like that falls you grab him. I could see Smith falling out of round one, but 56 is way to low for a guy of his talent.

My god that would have potential to be the best Jets draft ever, sign me up for that draft right now.

If he falls to us in the second then there really is a God! I've gotten into him thanks to this board. Although I'm really REALLY hoping for Moreno in the first, and also a fan of getting Murphy in the third (and the Stillman DT later, if he's still around).

Anyone that has Tyson Jackson in the top ten is a complete fool.

+1. That's my ideal draft, although I'd be perfectly happy with a number of different scenarios playing out. I'm not sure why everyone thinks Shonn Greene will last until our pick in the 3rd. If we get to that point without having drafted a running back, we'll likely be looking at Javon Ringer in the 4th.

That would be absolutely ideal in my eyes, maximizing value at every pick.

I'm just wondering, why wouldn't you want him?

Moreno is a special player... plus he has a great attitude. Take Moreno @ 17 please!!

I hate the thought of Freeman in the first...
