Maybe someone can explain this to me, but I play on the multiplayer for Gears 1 and some players get pissed if you chainsaw them using the lancer. It's even worse if you chainsaw the host because they get mad and boot you. Does anyone else run into this problem?
Yeah, cause it's whack. When someone is charging at you with a chainsaw and you put like 3 shotgun blasts into them and they don't die it's a bit ridiculous. If you get them from behind, however, they have nothing to complain about. I'm not big on the chainsaw... I prefer rolling with a shotty.
How is it whack? IT'S THE MAIN FEATURE OF THE GAME!!! WHAT WOULD GEARS OF WAR BE WITHOUT THE CHAINSAW MOVE. "YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME" I understand if you play with a glich or something, but chainsaw and active reloads are part of the game. Usually the people who don't like chainsaws are the one's getting chainsawed. Then they bitch and moan. How about the one's who stand over you when you have been downed. You stand up and they down you again over and over. Maybe the reason you put like 3 shotgun blasts into them and they don't die is because you're connection is slow and you lag. (just guessing.)
I'm not saying that I hate the chainsaw aspect but when that's all a person is doing, it gets real fucking old. The people who wait for you to get up are the worst though. The online on GoW is so weak. People are just way too corny for it to be enjoyable. The Campaign in both games is fantastic, but I can't be bothered with the online.
I hear you there! I love to campaign. Worst thing about it is the people online. Couple of times I played with some backward inbred racist bastards who's every third word was "nigg--". I can't deal with that type of ignorance. Not on a game. Now "Call of Duty" online is the bomb!
Its really hard to enjoy online play with people like that. The jerkoffs in Madden that pick the same play over and over again or the campers in Halo completly ruin the game each time I play online.
