http://www.nfl.com/draft/story?id=09000d5d80fb153b&template=without-video-with-comments&confirm=true There has been rumors going around that the Jets really like Freeman. It just makes you wonder what they'll actually do come the 25th. :shit:
I cannot see the Jets drafting another Qb with three young QBs on the roster already when those 3 QBs have a total of 7 starts combined, and all of them were by Clemens with the putrid OL in 2007. It just does not make sense.
I think a team like Tampa Bay would jump ahead and trade with a team like Houston to make sure they get him.
And the Freeman/ Pettigrew smokescreen continues. I guess this week its Freeman's turn. All part of Tanny's strategy to trade down...
Freeman scares me. I see major bust potential. And if he's Flacco lite, how is that a good thing? Flacco was a very average QB on a run first team. He had 2 games with 20+ completions: they lost them both. You could easily get the same production from Kelrikett Clemainiff
I have to agree with you about Freeman. I see way too many question marks and red flags. I get the feeling that his draft range could be as high as #8 to Jacksonville or as low as the top of the 2nd round.. Personally, if I was a GM, I wouldn't have him rated as high as a lot of other sites, but I get the feeling someone is going to take him too high. I just hope its not the Jets..
If the Jets draft Freeman in the first round...I will drop a "massive chud" in my pants. A bigger...steamier chud...then the one i dropped last year when we selected Gholston.
I'll puke if they pick Harvin. He is really a Washington clone. I can't see wasting a #1 on something the Jets already have. I am just not impressed with Harvin.
I do not get this arguement at all. They don't play the same position, LW is a massive weapon for our offense, why would having someone of LW's caliber hurt us? Did I mention they don't play the same position? Can someone seriously explain this arguement to me? Seriously...
After Tampa signed Leftwich, I wonder how far a tumble Freeman takes. If not to the Lions then he might be in for a bit of a hit.
Draft day just wouldn't be the same if the Jets didn't pick Freeman...I mean, we all know they have to make a selection that will only add to those Jets' draft blooper videos. How sad...
It would be nice to have a potential franchise QB on the roster. If they feel Freeman can be just that I am all for it. Of course though the general consensus on TGG is no fucking way, what a surprise.
