If we can bring one in for a 2nd round pick who would you choose?

I think Chad Johnson is insane and not nearly as entertaining as he thinks he is. I think Austin has some potential and would prefer him as a young, hungry player with upside. Overall, though, I would probably say keep the pick.

Hold on to the pick, see how the draft goes, then make a move.

You can't, RFAs need to be signed prior to the draft.

So then let him go. 2nd round is too high for a guy with his lack of track record. I watched him play at Monmouth on multiple occasions and I was surprised he made it into the NFL, much less is being considered for a 2nd round pick now.

I'd give up a second for Ocho in a heartbeat. Have some of you never seen him play?

If we're gonna part with a second rounder, it better be for Ocho Cinco and not Miles Austin. Austin has loads of potential, but he could also end up being an injury prone deep threat and nothing else. You can find those guys in the 7th round (or after the draft like Austin).

That being said, I think we're better off drafting Britt, Nicks, Maclin (somehow) or even Heyward-Bey. I think all of those guys are gonna be better than Miles Austin

Neither, especially for a second round pick. Just sign Holt.

You make it sound so easy. It's too bad he wants to be a Titan.

OCHO CINCO is one of the most overrated players in the NFL.

Keep the pick! Randy Moss goes for a 4th and we're talking about sending a 2nd for a guy I never heard of until last week? Come on already.

I'll take the pick. Austin looks like he could be very good, but who knows. The Pick is also an unkown, but I'd rather have the flexibilty in the draft.

Ocho is a me first whiny POS. Yea he's got talent, but he's 31 and a locker room problem, no thanks.

Why in the H-E-Double Hockey Stick would the JETS be crazy enough to waste a second round draft pick on Miles Austin. Are you kidding me? Ocho Cinco is a head case and I truly doubt the JETS would want one in the clubhhouse. I'm sure Rex Ryan was used to seeing #85 in the AFC North twice a year, but I don't think the JETS or Rex Ryan would want Chad Johnson for a whole season. Every good receiver wants an established QB and at this point, the JETS don't have one and I'm quite sure if we got Chad, he would make that very apparent.

With Ellard here, I'm sure he'd sign with the Jets if the money was right.

With Haynesworth walking, the Titans have about double the cap space of the Jets. We can't get into a bidding war with the Titans, so the money won't be right. Also, Holt hasn't expressed an interest in the Jets and, as far as I know, the only reports about our interest in Holt have signified that we have none. The fans may wish for him to sign, but the team apparently feels differently.
