Also, if Sanchez, who I think has the best tools in the draft, fell to us I would take him in a heart beat. There is a Major difference in drafting yet another later round/UDFA (Ainge/Ratliff) guy or getting a primo prospect.

very true, but i don't think that KC or ainge were considered potential 1st rounders. I mean i he was considered a potential 1st rounder, and all that is holding him bak is the fact that he has a learning disability, I'd take him. He will just take time to develop. Give the guy 3 years under the same Offensive coordinator and he will beast imo.

It was sad reading that story and then I became curious about him and looked at his highlights on youtube. The guy can play he has a rocket arm and a very quick release. He's a great kid who has a reading proiblem but he took his team to 12-0. Not many QB's have done that at any level. I sure hope he gets a look see. Listen the NFL is not MIT and for these scouts to label this kid is wrong. There have been some serious morons in the NFL Maurice Clarett, Michael Vick and the Jones twins Pacman and Matt. If I'm a team like Tampa Bay or Detroit you should evaluate him a little more closely.

I agree with you bro. I don't know much about the kid, but in general I would be much happier with the prospect of drafting a talented guy with a learning disability than a talented guy with a major personality/ego problem. I can recall plenty of guys that blew up their NFL prospects by letting their personalities get the best of them, but I can't remember the last time I heard of a guy's career imploding because of a learning problem. I'm not saying that it isn't a potential hurdle, but I don't think it's nearly as big of a deal as some are making it out to be.

KC would have been a potential frist rounder if not for breaking his leg his senior season. He was putting up great stats at Oregon (2,406 passing yards, 19 TDs, only 4 interceptions, and a 152.87 passer efficiency rating)

Ratliff was a UDFA but has shown some promise late in preseason games and by all accounts was good as the scout QB in season.

Ainge is a late round project. If we draft another QB this year Ainge is gone and becomes a wasted pick. It all depends on how the staff feels he progressed in his first year.
