I'm done with my Chargers draft. Rd 1 #016 - Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU Rd 3 #078 - Trevor Canfield, OG, Cincinnati Rd 4 #113 - Travis Beckum, TE, Wisconsin Rd 4 #133 - Sebastian Vollmer, OT, Houston Rd 4 #134 - Jason Phillips, ILB, TCU Rd 5 #148 - Kenny McKinley, WR, South Carolina Rd 6 #189 - C J Tillman, S, Marshall Rd 7 #224 - Terrance Knighton, DT, Temple Thoughts/Opinions?
Terrance Knighton was selected by the Jets in Rd 6.........Pinpoint needs pick again...draft keeps moving. PM sent to pinpoint!!!
Well Knighton was taken. And its CJ Spillman, not Tillman. Well you got an immediate starter in Tyson Jackson and a guy that help at guard or tackle with Canfield.. I think they took Scott Chandler recently in the 3rd round so I'm not sure if they need a TE there, but its a decent value. Nice developmental prospect in Vollmer and a guy who fits the 3-4 with Phillips.. I like Kenny McKinnley too. I would have looked for a NT and RB somewhere and possibly a safety earlier, but that's a solid draft in all.
Times up on the Steelers Can someone submit that pick? I would do it but I'm only a few picks away so it wouldn't be right
Thanks. I just copied and pasted the list from WW's thread, so it's his fault on the spelling  They took Chandler in the 4th round in 2007 and he hasn't even had a catch in the NFL; I think he's used as more of a blocker. I thought Beckum's pass catching ability was too good to pass up in the 4th. Phillips should be a good backup for Cooper and Burnett, and McKinley could potentially be their third or fourth receiver. Also, I think Knightley gives me a potential NT with a ton of upside if he can gain about 10 pounds. As far as taking a safety earlier, I thought I got great value with Spillman in the 6th, as he's someone who could easily go in the fourth. They have two pretty solid starters with Wheedle and Hart anyway. Finally, I didn't think RB was a major need because they already have LT, Sproles, and Bennett on the roster, so any RB they drafted would be at best a #3. They also have Hester who's not a bad ball carrier himself.
Nice choice for the Jets, but wow.. I can't believe a certain player of the same position is still around. I had him as a 3rd or 4th round value.. I could see the Jets taking this guy in the 4th round of the actual draft Terrific value for Dallas. DeAngelo Smith is a terrific prospect and could easily have gone in the 4th round.
