Sorry to disagree....DJ Moore isn't a 1st rd pick. He doesn't have the speed for someone his size. Butler is borderline at best....probably early rd 2.

Jabba did an excellent job, if New England does that well....the rest of the AFC East will be in trouble.

My Giant's draft gives your Pats a run for the money :).

As a Jets fan, that mock makes me want to go cry in the corner.

As a side note, I think New England will be trading a few picks to get more picks for 2010's Awesome draft class.....they have the ammo .

If I was a GM with multiple picks, this year...i'd try like hell to get more picks for 2010's draft, especially rd 1.

This was a fan draft much like our 7 rounder going on.

Jabba did an excelent job on it. The reason for Mabin over gilbert is the needs of NE. He got a much needed outside pass rusher at 23 and his favorit 3-4 DE at 34. I'm sure he's as happy as hell about it.

I don't think Moore is. but many analysts have him near the end of round 1, I would suspect the reason being is that it is generally a weak draft year and there is alot of movement in the ends of round 1 to early round 3, I am hearing Butler is rising, and has had exceptional workouts.

Personally I would rather have Butler

jabba what were you thinking? helping the pats like that is just cruel. You are supposed to draft by looking for the obvious disasters, like say trading up to the #1 overall pick for your entire draft plus tom brady to take Josh Freeman.

because if this is how it plays out, i'm sure i will be joining the other guy in the corner....

    :rofl2: I can see that.

But passing up a guy that we should take at 17...and PRAYING that he slips to the next pick...However, given that you had wilfork and seymour in the front tier, the reasoning is unassailable...

... and don't forget Ty Warren & Jarvis Green, both of whom would start for the Jets in my view

Agreed. That's why I hope that the Jets sign Miles Austin. Then I think the odds are dramatically increased that Gilbert becomes Ellis replacement.

P.S... Do you think Mitch King winds up in green?
