5 offensive linemen is overkill in my opinion. If you look at the Texans roster, they have solid players at both tackle spots. Eric Winston is one of the most underrated right tackles in football. Also, the Texans drafted their starting left tackle, Duane Brown, last season. Andre Smith is great value, but he may have to slide to guard. They need a replacement at guard on the right side. Alex Mack will also be a better option at center. So 3 of those 5 picks are wasted in my opinion...
Agreed, its just too much at one spot, especially with 2 players cemented in place, they need lots of help in lots of places so value won't fly, I also would guarentee that they wouldn't carry all those players for the whole season, and most will need time to develop
Great post... Houston has plenty of needs. A power back to compliment Steve Slaton is one off the top of my head.
Yeh he is definately a player that needs an accompaniment, I would like to see a platoon in Houston, make sure the runners are kept fresh that will help with Johnson's success and the run game will draw more into the box
I am back. I'll close out the Cardinals draft unless you guys decided to replace me. Either way, I won't do this next year. I was too much trouble. I was hoping WW85 would use a long draft board that I had sent him before I made my Jason Williams pick.
Would have loved to take Kory Sheets but someone beat me to it. Injuries do happen and using day two picks to add depth is never a bad thing. the real question is who would you have taken in rounds 4-6 that would have been a better value than the selections that I made?

If I had any idea that I could get Lewis AND Boone later I might have gone that way. Still don't have any regrets about Houston's draft so far.
Sorry for the delay in my last pick and missing my prior pick guys. getting on the net outside of work hours has been tough over the last few days as my fiancee' is working on term papers, lesson plans, etc for student teaching/master's.She doesnt exactly take too kindly to getting off HER comp. for a 7 round mock draft. I'll pm WW85 w/ a draft board so I dont cause any more issues.

Would've liked to grab an offensive lineman earlier but the value didn't fit. Got McNabb some playmakers with the first 3 picks, some depth on the d-line with Scott and Moore two guys I think can be starters and some depth everywhere else.
Great draft! I haven't looked at everyones draft yet but I find it hard to believe Eagles won't be in the top 5. How did Moreno make it to 28?

Would have gone to the Cardinals had I not been banned over the weekend. Fiammeta was high up on my draft board.
