Here's a story about Sean Green: he got his number changed from 48 because he was Heilman used it last year. Whether it was because he believed it was a jinx or because he didn't want to be associated with Heilman isn't known to me, but it's a bit ridiculous. I'm mixed on Santana leaving...He wasn't going past 6 anyway, and Green is here simply to get righthanded hitters out. On the other hand, Johan only going 5.2 leaves a bad taste in my mouth when his pitch count wasn't terrible. I'll live with it though.
100 pitches is kind of alot for the first start of the year. As long as Manuel doesn't get into the stupid "100 pitches and done" mentality that he did down the stretch last year in important games it's fine.
