I just saw Maiden last night!! OMG!! What a ******* awesome show!!.. I'm an old-schooler, and the set they played was filled with all of their greatest songs from the 80's. I couldn't have been more pleased, they came out and kicked our *** with over two hours of pure Maiden brilliance.... It's also been 13 years since Maiden came to Ft. Lauderdale, and when the tickets first went on sale, they had the arena set up for only 1/2 the capacity{approx 6,000}. The band was obviously uncertain how the ticket sales would go... Well guess what? There happens to be a lot more than 6,000 Maiden fans down here, and more than 11,000 tickets were purchaced when all was said and done. It was the full size show in the end, and nothing was left out. It was without question one of the most incredible concert experiences I've ever had. Not to mention I was down on the floor{general admission / PIT} and had a great spot about 30 feet from the stage. What a cool experience, if you've never had the pleasure, I highly recommend seeing them the next time they tour the US.... UP THE IRONS!!!!....
I really wanted to see this tour. Unfortunately they played no where near me here in SC. I got to see them on the early days and AMOLAD tours back on LI,such a great band.
