Sounds about right. The Prudential Center was $4, I think. It's unbelievable. Rather just sit through the game thirsty.

$5 for water and $6 for a beer. Hopefully, you made the right choice.

Are you really surprised at all?

This is why I hate the Yankees.

Don't knock it, they will be able to afford a 400 million dollar payroll next year..at least. $5 water (which by the way is not expensive in these times) and $2600 single game seats should do them well.

I was in the Legends Suite box last night... food was free!

And who drinks water at a ballgame anyway?

So water at citi-field is $3.75..a little less but then that stadium only cost half as much to build and is subsidized by citibank.

Can't you just bring in a bottle of water in the clear plastic bag?

I'm sure he hates the Yankees for the same reasons most people do and is just using this to justify his feelings.

All major league stadium pricing is a ripoff but this is getting extreme.

A little less? Try a lot less.

I would not buy water or beer at a stadium out of principle, but a bottle of water at Yankee Stadium costs a third (33.333...%) more than at Taxpayer Field.

Silly smacktalk, but remember who started the thread.

Not so long ago, we used to re-hydrate using free water from a fountain. Nobody died.

Does either stadium have water fountains? It was a travesty when they removed them from MSG.
