One thing I don't get (not saying I don't agree, just I don't have enough knowledge to have an opinion) is all the love for the 2010 class of QB's coming out of college. Except for Bradford (which I undestand is comparable to Stafford + 1 more year of experience) and Colt McCoy (who I like but I think is very much comparable with the top 3 2009 QB's) who are the "great QB's of 2010" that the Jets may be interested in if KC and BR both suck?
    Thank you :)

Well the two that you mentioned, Jimmy Clausen out of Notre Dame as a lot of potential, throws his fair share of picks, but we saw what he can be in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. Jevan Snead from Ole Miss is going to be a good QB, and if he improves this season could fly up the draft. Obviously there is Tim Tebow but people are not sold on his ability to make the transition. Pat Devlin has a strong arm and good size, this is a important season for him, there is a lot of potential, but we wont know just how much until we see them this season.

Tebow. Best QB in the country. Atleast Urban Meyer says so, and I believe him.

No there not all seniors, but they may still come out:

I think only Tebow and McCoy are seniors, although most expect Bradford to come out after his Junior year, and there is a good chance that Clausen will come out as well.

...Sam Bradford will be a redshirt junior during the 2009 season. He'll have the same amount of experience as Stafford is he decides to go pro after 2009 -- both would be 3-year starters. Bradford will be a top ten pick if he stays healthy...he's a very good player.

Colt McCoy is not comparable Mark Sanchez, Matt Stafford, or Josh Freeman - McCoy's a spread QB with a lot of speed. I don't think he has elite arm strength, but he wins...some team will take him early. The guy's got a ton of experience: he'll be a four year starter at a top college program. He still needs to add weight.

Jimmy Clausen is the most talented passer in college football. Now that he has talent around him, he'll take Notre Dame to the next level. He has Heisman written all over him. I'm not sure if he'll come out early -- Notre Dame finally has championship level talent...the Fighting Irish may contend for a National Championship in 2010 if Clausen stays for his senior year.

I like Tim Tebow as a college quarterback, but he has to answer a lot of questions: system guy? throwing motion? mechanics? - his situation is very similar to Pat White's. Can they play QB in the NFL?

I think this is the year another big time QB comes out of the MAC whether it's Tim Hiller of Western Michigan or Dan Lefevour of Central Michigan.

    I like some other guys:

    Jevan Snead - Ole Miss
    Matt Nichols - Eastern Washington
    Daryll Clark - Penn State

There is no doubt in my mind that next years QBs will be better, but a lot of that is just not being very high on this year's QBs.

True FME, i think that in comparison next years QB draft class will be outstanding, but even without the comparison to this year, it has the potential to be one very good one. If all the QB's come out that MrElectric29 outlined it will be one of the best classes in some time IMO.

Even better than the draft class that Big Ben and Iceman Manning was in? They had pretty decent QBs in that draft class.

Impossible to say right now, there are still some question marks above a lot of the QB's, how many QB's went in 2004 in the first round? Eli/Rivers/Big Ben/Lossman....this group has potential to have four first round picks, it's just a wait and see job i think.

Josh Freeman is going to be there at 17, I think with his size at 6'6 250 and strength he will be a better QB then the ones that are coming in 2010

    his size and strength?

    what is he a lineman?

should we trade for Jamarcus Russell?

there will be at least 3 qbs better than freeman next year.

    Bradford(i think he declares)
Clausen (i think he declares if ND has a good year)
McCoy (people will knock him cause of the system but I think this guy is beyond legit and he'll go early next yr)

the bolded is obviously a matter of opinion but the basis for your thinking puzzles me

Zach Robinson - JR. Oklahoma State

Good arm, good decision-maker, and he can move in the pocket. He's only gotten better over the past two years and he's a phenomenal athlete. If it wasn't for him the game vs. Oklahoma would have been like playing the scout team at TCNJ for the Sooners.
