    Pshhh...weed...big deal.

Steroids? It's a good thing I didn't want either of them. Too bad we couldn't find out AFTER New England took Clay Matthews.

Thank god I posted a post about that Raji guy and the whole weed problem before I seen that Harvin got busted because if not...People would act like Harvin could do no wrong in my eyes which is not the case.

Weed is no big deal as long as it's not a Ricky Williams choose weed over your NFL career type of situation because weed is only weed, no big deal..I'm not sure I know alot of 20 year old who havnt smoked weed during their days but it is kinda foolish to smoke when you know your about to take a test before the draft, why not just stop for 30 days?

It's only weed and I hope that means Harvin drops to 17 ricky williams

Matthews will drop like a stone. Explains his rise to fame. Also, bit of a black mark against USC.

I don't think you have to worry about that. We're the first team that will even look at him. You may want to be concerned that reports have our FO with rapidly declining interest in him...and now this comes out. While weed on its own isn't a big deal, weed coupled with the waning interest could mean zero interest. Still, it's a hell of a lot better than the steroids.

The fact that TWO of their backers were juicing is a black mark. I'm pissed I wasn't listening to local sports radio out here. Matthews is their hero because of his story.

Is there any other link on Mathews and Cushing? This definitely pushes both of them out of the first round

how retarded can you be... didnt their trainers know that there would be drug tests at the combine.. yeah its illegal... but you know players do it.. and if they wanted to do soto keep up.. all they needed to do was cool for awhile to rinse their systems.. idiots..

but they are two studs.. what is the NFL's policy on sterioids??

Yeah, I'm not finding anything. It's awfully dangerous to fabricate this, though. I mean, NFL teams obviously spread fake rumors to cut or boost the draft status of players, but this would be ridiculous.

All of them knew they had to do a piss test. Now to go and fail doesn't speak high of either of them.

Weed isn't a big deal and I think it should be legal even though I don't smoke it.

I think this really says a lot about where these guys priorities/minds are at. They are on the brink of getting drafted in the NFL and becoming multi-millionaires yet they're risking that by smoking weed around the same time as the combine? If they can't make a commitment to being an NFL professional BEFORE they get that big paycheck, what the hell are they going to do after they get it?

How fucking stupid are you? Seriously. Go take another bong hit you fucking hippie. If I were an NFL owner I would think long and hard before drafting these guys.

Everyone says Cushing juices because of his bitch tits. What about the BTs on Andre Smith? Thats gotta count. Andre Smith's torso owes royalty payments to Edvard Munch.

It's a really big deal..it can end up with you sitting out a year or forever in the NFL..just ask Ricky Williams how big a deal it is. Anybody stupid enough to test positive at the combine is way stupid enough to get caught 10 more times.

None of these guys are going to be punished by the NFL because none of them took any type of drugs/steroids while they were employed by the NFL. They likely cost themselves millions and are going to drop a few spots but look at what happened with Luis Castillo in 2005 with his steroids test? He's starting for the Chargers and making a huge impact.

The guys who tested positive for weed would only be fined if they were caught doing it while under contract for the first offense anyway. This isn't going to ruin everybody as much as you think. Raji, Davis, and Harvin will only drop a couple of spots, 10 at the most. Matthews and Cushing will fall to the second round and then get snapped up and start somewhere else...as long as neither of the get bowled over at the goal-line and start crying after.

EDIT: The only sites reporting the steroids news are KFFL and fan forums. I'm not sure how much stock I'd even put in that report, if any, just yet.

well when you are talking about mid to late round prospects, you're right 10 slots wouldnt do much damage to you. Now if you are dropping from 6 to #16, as in the case of Raji's ten slot drop, you are looking in the neigborhood of probably 15-20 million dollars. so yeah its kind of going to ruin the kids, just a touch....

I hope the NFLN removes those annoying Brian Cushing "Blue Collar" draft commercials now.
