Forget those guys, Clemens deserves a shot behind a good o-line and a solid running game unlike in 2007. Aswell as a defense that is 5x better... Clemens is a solid QB and with the extra year knowledge with Favre and a better offense all around, I like him. Ratliff is a solid #2 he has everything it takes although i dont think he's close to a starter yet. If he destroys clemens in Pre-Season then theres a argument but untill that happens clemens is our starter. Should draft a QB in the 1st or 2nd that ryan wants.

The Jets "might" miss the playoffs?

I am thinking their ceiling is 7 wins.

The team will have a new QB, but I wouldn't set the bar so low. The Defense will be better with the additons and the hopeful emergence of Gholston. If we draft a WR and find a decent player to back up Leon & TJ (andre brown), I think the team can do fairly well. I refuse to believe the team will do absolutely nothing in the draft and lose 9 games next season.

They got a 1st this year, a 3d this year, a 1st next year, and Kyle Orton from the Bears... what do you think they would've wanted from a team in their own conference?

Clemens or Ratliff should be our starter. Clemens has had two very good, and very different, QBs to learn under in Pennington and Favre. I hope he is as smart and accurate as Chad and as strong armed as a young Favre. If he still isn't ready (and I don't judge him on his 2007 season since our OL was the real problem) then try Ratliff. It would be nice to draft a 3rd option - but that shouldn't be our prime concern. I really think the QB situation will be OK.

I wouldn't be surprized to see Cutler fail at Chicago. He throws way to many picks and doesn't seem to have good leadership skills. I'm not sure of his record as a starter at Denver but I'm sure his team lost way more than it won.

Why does everyone think he is an option? I have a better chance of being the Jet QB than he does. His only value is to be buried head first at the 35 yard line and his ass used as a kicking tee. I am tired of seeing his name listed as a possibility.

Are you kidding? Sean Glennon is horrible! He throws some of the worst interceptions I've ever seen. He sucked so bad in the opening weeks of 2 seasons that they had to pull Taylor's redshirt off TWICE.

The Pats have 12 picks this year, we have 6. Lets keep what picks we have left and see what we have in the QB's on the roster.

and now we are following the Patriots again... One day this franchise will think for itself... one day, and it will have someone looking at more than the bottom line. A true football man. By then I'll be dead though, so, it's a moot point.

Why not? He'll be free in a few weeks. We could probably get him real cheap too. Since he's already institutionalized, he'll probably just cost us some honeybuns, and a couple of peanutbutter sandwiches.

LOL! On second thought, maybe Vick won't be that cheap after all.
