God I hope so. D in round 1, WR or RB in round 2.

If the Jets and Bears submitted equal proposals, who's Denver gonna trade him to? The last thing a team in the AFC wants to do is potentially create an AFC powerhouse

Let's hope he gets your wife's genes.

Clemens is not a better option than Orton when you're trading him based on potential. We also don't know that Clayton has the report right. He very well may, but everyone else is still reporting that the 3rd went from Chicago to Denver.

Well, with Sanchez rising, and Cutler off the market, KC Ratliff and maybe a vet are going to be it for the QB position for next year, buckle up!

You have to figure Cutler wouldn't wind up here anyway. Tannenbaum never really wanted Cutler as evidenced when he didn't draft him or when he tried to get back into the first round to draft Leinart. Add in getting burned in the Farve senario and you got a that's pretty much done sticking his neck out on gambles for the foreseable future..

Some of the best moves are often the moves not made.
Good self control from the Jets and Woody PSL Johnson.

But as the Bronco's, if the deal from the Jets, or any AFC team for that matter, is better than the one from Chicago, wouldn't that be cutting your nose off despite your face if you know you could have gotten more in return and more Value than you did, just so he's not in the AFC. Only time they'd face him is playoffs and once every 3rd year or so... thats a rediculous reason in terms of building your team if you ask me.

It's actually a fairly even deal I think. The Broncos wind up with two mid to late firsts and a QB with some experience while McDaniels goes and finds his real QB. The Bears, who have been on the cusp of a big win for about the last three years now have a QB that they can say is topflight also.

I'd much rather be Denver in the deal, but after watching the journeymen that Chicago has watched the last decade I completely understand the deal. The Bears are in a weak division with what looks like the best team at the moment. That has to count for something.

Well I did say Jay reminded me of Jim McMahon. I guess I'll have to watch the draft. I expect the JETS to go defense.

...I like th Ratliff kid, but if we are going to rest our chances on him turning into a "elite" QB, then we're risking a lot, I'd bring in Leftwich......

Who is retarded? The person who uses sarcasm to point out the flaws in an argument, or the person who takes him seriously?

Thank you for pointing out that 9 gake win streak, BTW.
