Ok, that is all I was asking. Though I believe Washington is an OLB, Brooks is well past his sell by date and Thomas is one hit away from being done (multiple concussions).

I can see what you are trying to sell here but I personally would not do it. To each his own.

I think we should trade BT for JC. Your thoughts? or reaction?

That's why I said Mangini has to be high on Clemens. Remember he picked Clemens to be his QB. If he's not high on Quinn but still thinks Clemens is his guy it makes sense. Thomas was a starter for 3 years for Mangini so it adds some value. I'm thinking Clemens and Quinn is nearly a wash if Mangini really likes Clemens.

That said, I don't see it happening.

I'll pass. Only take him if the entirely of the trade undoubtedly favors us.

Also remeber we have Larry izzo on the roster and he could start next to Scott .. so we could get by at ILB for a year I think

Mangini is a lot higher on Revis than he is on Clemens, you can bet your life on it.

no, but by all reports he did say that he would still continue to seek to trade Cutler if the right deal came up, which leads to the same predicament -- he isn't valued. I'm not sure how you think the outcome and meaning is different.

    Seriously. Stop posting.

I'd do the deal for the right picks. Harris, Jenkins, and Revis should all be untouchable, and Rhodes is close.

Our situation at QB is NOT dire enough to rip apart our defense. Our current situation is unknown, not untenable.

It would suck, because BT is way to valuable to give up. I would rather give up Revis, Harris, Scott AND the entire OLine than part ways with BT the sack-master.

David Harris isn't untouchable. Bart Scott is going to be the focal point of this defense...Revis, no...And like most have said, ya gotta give up something...

I was completely on board the "get Jay Cutler at any cost" bandwagon until I read what Kerry Rhodes has to say. If a lesser Jet- say Ellis or Coleman- has said the same, I might have taken it with a grain of salt. But if our superstar safety says "Jay Cutler is a dick," I believe him.

I would give up Harris, but we'd then almost be forced to draft an ILB. Izzo can't start. That's crazy.
