I know I am in the minority here but I would be happy giving up a 1st, 2nd and a conditional pick next year. Make it so!

I'd bet a million dollars the Jets don't get Cutler, on the basis that his attitude is the exact opposite of what Rex is looking for.

I will post something useful in this thread later tonight after I'm done watching a TV program.

Its not up to the head coach. If it was Favre wouldn't have been here.

    Just thought of something.

If we get Cutler, is he going to come with a full coterie of fag-ass fanboys that will make excuses for him in perpetuity?

'cause I don't know if I could handle that shit again.

Actually, that would be Mangini. Rex likes cocky players who have alot of confidence. Its actually his favorite thing.

i don't think he's been in the league as much and he certainly hasn't been that kind of player to be that special once in a lifetime QB who's love of the game is felt through many.

wow, I sound like one of them.... hey when I was a kid just learning football, Favre was the first big name I knew. Chalk it up to the new born duckling analogy.

I'd like Burt a whole lot more if he had never donned the green and white...not that that's saying much, you understand.

Yes he likes cocky players with confidence and swagger, but not whiners. Jay Cutler is perhaps one of the biggest whiners ever to grace the football field. Rex doesn't want an arrogant baby, he wants self-confident men.

Oh, and Rex won't let Tannenbaum dictate his team, he will fight like a man, not a mangina, for what he wants.

Don't count out Woody's need to sell PSL's. I'm sure Woody is up Mike T's ass about getting Cutler.

Do we really want Cutler even if it sacrifices team chemistry.........happy with what we have and actual team chemistry.

Please no Cutler. We don't need a potential cancer in our LR.

Dear Mike Tannenbaum, make sure you stay away from this bad dog.

The guy has showed his ass and torn down a team in barely a month. He has the same disease that afflicts T.O.

His poison should stay the hell away from Floral Park, NJ.

I'm torn on whether or not I want Cutler. I'm trying to figure out if all this bad press is more the media's doing or if it's really true. The guy's got a lot of talent, no doubt, but I'm not sure if I want to piss of Rhodes and I'm sure more than a few others who aren't going to like it if we get him.

"In games that the Broncos have allowed 21 points or fewer, Cutler is an impressive 13-1, and that only loss was to Green Bay in 2007 when the Packers won the coin toss and Brett Favre threw an 82-yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime."

Get this guy in Green and White.

Cutler would give this team something we have missed for a lot of years, well decades,
an accurate QB with a strong arm and a gun slinger mentallity.

This kid would automatically inprove this team without even taking a snap.

I say sign him and trade KC for what ever we might be able to get.

I'd be willing to deal a 1st and 2nd next year, possibly another late rounder. Maybe one of the Jet Quarterbacks if they want one for depth purposes.... I'm not sure what other teams will be offering, but Detroit and Tampa probably have more ammo then us so we'd have to unload a shitload of picks.
