I'd prefer we start a QB whose testicles have dropped.

Sadly, you would be. The Jets are more addictive and worse for your health than any kind of drug or alcohol. Once you are in, there is no way out.

Did you have to go and rile up the herd?

If we're in the mix, the Broncos will likely want 3 picks from us at this point. I honestly don't think they want the #1 overall pick, and the money it will entail, but the Jags and 49ers are possibilities in the top 10.

Right now Bronco fans are saying "if we trade cutler I am no longer a Bronco fan".....only difference is THEY dont sound completely ridiculous...the simple fact that the ONE player a lot of Jet fans dont want to see traded is a cornerback says that the Jets are a long, long way from a championship

    ...think about it

I'm sure he's off the table. The Broncos would want a qb as their player.

I say this year's number one and 4th sent to Denver. Next year's number one to Cleveland. Cleveland sends Quinn to Denver. Denver sends Cutler to us!

This has to get done Mikey T. This is your legacy as a GM. Get Cutler here and the balance of power in the AFC shifts.
We instantly become a championship contender.Even with the uncertainty at the WR position, which i personally feel is blown out of proportion.
With a defense that should keep opponents under 17pts a game and an offense with Cutler that can light it up, we will be the team to beat in the AFC.

That's a possibility. I'm not a huge fan of the 2 #1s heading out the door, but with Cutler we'd likely make next year a low first rounder.

You should want Cutler. If he comes our way, I'm immediately changing my avatar to a pic of my glucometer, insulin, and needles.

Anyone actually think they would take picks and Kellen? By picks I mean probably 2 #1's and a 4 or 5.

Yes. I would assume they'd take 2 #1s and a 4 or 5 + Kellen. It would be a smart move for them. They take a QB with one of their #1s this year to cover their bases, and they have the other to help build up next season. The question is whether Cutler is worth 2 #1s + a 4 or 5. The Clemens move would make excellent sense given Ratliff's presence on the bench and the free up of some cash.

For a franchise qb? That is fair market value.

The Broncos will not trade their franchise for nothing. Two first's are the absolute bare minimum. Plus they wouldn't want Kellen. So, for a team like Cleveland to get involved, you'd have to give them a high pick.

if cutler whines about the possibility of being traded in denver, he will not be able to handle the pressure in new york. cutler doesnt seem like a rex ryan guy. In my opinion we should go with what we have and perhaps we may land on something...i have a gut feeling that ratliff is our future at qb. trading for cutler is not worth giving up revis, or any 1st round picks...plus who the hell is he gonna throw to...cutler was good in part to brandan marshall...that guy is a pro bowl receiver..who is ours..cotchery is nice but we have no deep/big presence like marshall is...plus if we are a run first offense cutler will be pissed at that

Relax. There's very little chance we actually get him. Just fun to discuss the possibility.
