I think you did really well. I know some phins fans would cream their pants over those picks. I think that if Vontae Davis was there at 25 as he was this mock that Parcells would have picked him. Also for WR Ramses Barden is 6'6" and pretty fast. Still a project but I could see the phins getting him at the bottom of 2nd round as Parcells loves big players.
So happy Macho man Harris is a Giant. CB isnt a HUGE need but it is something NYG can expand upon definitely and Macho would absolutely kill with that Giant D.
Jabba could pick a steaming pile of dog crap in the 3rd and it would still be better than what we usually get, I am very interested in seeing what Jabba does in the 3rd,
lol  Well hopefully I do better than a steaming pile of crap hmy: Anyway, I'm still here fellas, just give me some time to make a decision Thanks
Oh yeh for sure, I am interested to see what the next direction is, there is some depth in this draft as far as talent goes, but it is limited to very few positions
Personally, I would have went a few different ways with the pick (Some nice OL, TE or ILB around IMHO), but Sherrod Martin is a terrific player and is quite underrated. He could come and help out at safety and corner. Nice pickup
Honestly I thought Sherrod Martin was the best value not counting positions that are so locked in with starters that whoever I draft at that spot will only represent depth for the forseeable future ... but like Donlad Brown, I can definitely see Martin challenging for that safety spot opposite Rhodes if he is as good as I think he is, and I think he's really good ... perhaps not right away, but sooner rather than later Anyway, that was my thought process behind this pick for whatever its worth ... there are quite a few players left who I view as "big upside" guys still left on the board, but of those players Martin was the one who has the best chance to start on the Jets in the near future (IMHO)
Not huge on the Martin pick. I think it was a fine pick, and he very well may be a starter for us down the line, but I do not see him as anybody who is going to make any kind of big impact, he might be like a better Elam. I am good with the pick, although I definitely think they are some better options out there. I definitely like Martin, but maybe as a 4th rounder or late 3rd rounder, not so early. On another note, I am very happy with my Oakland draft so far. I believe I have gotten a potential impact player in every round with Everette Brown, Louis Delmas, and Louis Murphy. Brown would start right away on the Raiders and I think he is the second best defensive player in this draft behind Curry. He adds a potent pass rush to Oakland that they haven't had since Sapp (maybe Burgess two years ago). Delmas I think is the best true safety in this draft (meaning Malcolm Jenkins and Sean Smith don't count cause they are CB/S guys). They just cut Huff and may cut Gibril Wilson, and Delmas is a great cover guy to replace one of the two. Finally, Murphy can be a solid slot guy for Oakland right now and I think has the ability to develop further, he has all the talent to do it, but the question is if he can be committed (although, with Al Davis,it is probably unlikely). He was also a solid value where I got him. Overall, happy.
Martin is an alright pick, there is a few names out there I would have liked a bit more, but it still works, he would have been in my top 10,
Guys....I sent PMs to everyone regarding tomorrow. Also, noone will be updating the players by rd after 10:00 AM. so make sure you check the plers selection thread.
Hmm, for some reason I thought that they hadn't cut him yet. Thank you for the update. Well, now the Delmas pick looks even better then...
Not gonna lie Ive never even heard of Martin. In the 3rd round, a few safeties who I think are better (again I'm not sure because Ive never seen Martin) are some peoples.
You can't mention prospects who aren't drafted...please edit. AND Sherrod Martin is a great safety. It's too bad you've never heard of him -- you guys should watch some non-BCS football some time...it's great.
