I was going to take Unger one pick earlier but I got confused and thought that I had taken Alex Mack for the Titans instead of the Texans.

Wallace was a decent value IMHO but I screwed up.

Ah, nice pick with Meredith. I was planning to get him in a few picks for the Raiders. I don't believe he will make it out of round 2 on draft day, so nice pick.

I am not really sure where to go now with the Raiders pick. Damn....

Meredith's one of the most overrated prospects in this entire draft...when I have more time I'll tell you why.

I like the Meredith pick there. Great value.

Barden wasn't a huge need for KC but they don't have much oppossite Bowe and I figure if anyone knows how to get the most out of tall receivers its Haley. I like the depth at certain other positions later on where I felt while it might be a reach it's a solid pick for KC.

I didn't keep it or anything like that. I'm not interested in venison.

Three deer were in a heavily wooded pit enclosed by a fence. I think they sometimes hide there during the day. My dogs went into the pit yesterday and the deer tried to make their way to the hole in the fence. When Smokey saw them he started to make his patented weird noises. This dog makes bizarre sounds while running after animals. I've never before seen any dog do such a thing.
One deer ran into a briar patch and started to hobble. Smokey pounced on it shortly thereafter. He bit its legs and neck. It's possible that he snapped its neck. There was nothing I could do but yell for him to come to me. It wasn't a fun sight to see. The deer made all sorts of horrible noises.

Smokey came back with deer hair all over his snout and in his mouth.
The deer was not dead. I called a cop. He didn't know what to do because if he put a bullet in it he would have to report it.
Well, earlier this hour I saw blood by the head. I am assuming that the cop put the deer out of its misery. There was also a big patch of hair missing from its side. That was from Smokey.

This dog has killed at least a dozen animals in the past year, mostly woodchucks. It usually only takes him one bite to the neck to get the job done. Yesterday was the first time he attacked an animal larger than him and at least three times his weight.

The deer will be eaten by turkey buzzards this week. There are plenty of them by me. I like those birds, so at least they'll be happy.

Sorry for the non-draft talk. I will be here on and off for the next six hours. If anybody has a pick coming up soon and you have to sign off, feel free to PM me a draft board if the other guys aren't around.

Well it was a coin flip between him and one other OT who I had basically equally ranked. I suppose this would be a better discussion once he is taken.

After missing out on Wells last round, I was really glad to land Greene there. He should be a nice compliment to Julius Jones.

Damn, too bad there isn't a way we could all have the ability to edit that thread. It is useless (well, almost) if it isn't updated on a fairly quick basis. It's already 7 picks behind at the moment.

I'm not complaining, by any means, as I know it is IMPOSSIBLE for any one of us to be chained to our PC keeping up with every pick - especially WW85 and Mr. E who have enough on their plate already (by the way, appreciate your efforts guys!) - I just wish there was a way we could all chip in and keep it up to speed.

Granted, it's not all that difficult to figure out what players are off the board that are not yet listed in the thread, but it would definately speed up the process immensely to have all that information up-to-date and in one place without having to cross-check.

Sorry guys - I was out for dinner.

I just updated it...every 3 to 5 picks I'll try to refresh the list.

Thanks alot Mr. E! No need to apologize.

Like I said, it's asking alot for one guy to take on the task of keeping the list updated. I wish there was a way we could all chip in and share the burden.

Yea it's impossible to be here all the time. I've spent the majority of the last 3 days glued to this site. That's going to change tomorrow, I have to go out of town (50 Miles) for work and will be away from on-line access while I'm on the road.

The position chart is a very nice feature and Mr E willing to update it is great. I have enough on my plate, updating the players drafted thread by round, the teams thread (which most mocks don't do) and fielding PMs.

I recommend everyone to have a player's board of 250 players ranked as your BAP and then there isn't a need for players drafted by position. Drafting by positions can, at times, make GMs reach for players.
