I'm not sure what the waitlist looks like at this point, but like I said, I'll be around the computer for the duration of the draft if you need someone to step in.

Yeah, given the no-shows so far, I'll be near my computer to fill in if someone misses a pick.

Damn, I want to get mine in already.

That's all true, but it really doesn't matter when a Quarterback is on the board. Garrard is still the short term QB, that's really the key to it all. While a kid like Jeremy Maclin would be good, it wouldn't be the factor that saved or lost Del Rio his job. The team has to improve it's play across the board, and if they can do that, having Stafford in line for next year is huge in that division.

Stafford is a great pick at #8 for Jax.

The NFL is a QB driven league, you aren't going to get to a championship with a J.A.G. QB. At least the Jets have a couple of QBs that might develop into a very good NFL QBs. Garrard isn't anything special and has shown his ability.

Right. I mean, if Gerrard suddenly turns into a great QB, than they're just facing the same situation that the Chargers had a few years back with Brees and Rivers, which isn't a bad thing by any means.

Ended up going with Gilbert, here. Pitt's biggest needs are CB and OL, but there was no value for CB with Davis off the board and I can get OL later on. With an aging DL, Gilbert should fit in nicely, get a year or so to transition in.
