1st mistake: the NFL network brings in Rich Cimini for his opinion

2nd mistake: Cimini figures the Jets will take either Tyson Jackson, Josh Freeman, or DHB with the 17th pick overall.

I shut the TV off after that.

Good. I hope people think that's what we are going to do. Is Cimini even paying attention?

    I agree 100%

I wont be happy or sad if we choose Tyson Jackson I think he is a safe pick the other two though I think have to much a bust % for 1st round. The 2nd round would be much safer for taking them.

anybody else think that Erik Boland is probably the best guy to ask as far as "what the Jets are thinking?" he seems to know whats going on in the organization way more than Cimini and Cannizaro...

I think it's personal preference....I don't have much of an opinion of any of these guys, expect Dan Leberfeld....seems way off base on his views and his crazy questions he asks during a presser.

This segment sucked. What scared me the most tho was seeing all the Draft analysts and their mocks on the right-side of the TV. 3 of 4 had the Jets taking Josh Freeman with the 17th pick.

One (Pat Kirwan, I think) of them had Maclin falling to us at 17, which would be awesome, but totally unreal.

yeah im pretty sure this is a draft where they are just like who do you select with the pick especially being in the middle of the draft... of course if you want to be literal then yes they are gonna select someone.. but this if one of the tougher ones for them... you see all these mock drafts with like ummteen different people being selected so you know they are up in the FO going threw the same fits....

no they aren't, they have a big board with a top name at the list, and then more players underneath.

All teams are still readjusting their board at this time of year, not just at the top but the later rounds as well.

Just because mock drafts don't have them pinned with one prospect has nothing to do with the FO. If anything, give them credit for fooling everyone. But to suggest that the FO doesn't know because the "draftniks" can't pick the obvious choice is silly.
