it is comical reading some of these posts. to think that some people actually think anyone of the four guy's on your list equal any value at all, lol... jets fans thinking franchise qb's grow on trees and it shouldn't cost hardly any value. i guess that's what happens when fans get used to a noodle armed qb as the franchise....
The only player the Jets could offer to make the Broncos even consider pulling the trade is Revis. Any other players would be horrible value for Denver, however you want to package it.
well I'm not going to say as much about how ludacris this is, because my fellow Jets comrades have already done so:up: My biggest beef is comparing a Thomas Jones contract issue with Coles constant whining.
Who is Jay Cutler and why are we giving away the heart and soul of this team. I think we should thrown in lesser value players like Revis, Rhodes, Washington, and Mangold. Oops might as well throw Jenkins in there as well since I heard the new cafeteria at the new training center is having trouble making enough food for him. Do you think we can get this Cutler guy for so little??
How about Gholston straight up for Cutler. Cutler picked at 12 and Gholston at 6, Gholston must be twice as good as Cutler.. Get it done Tanny.
Hate to jump on the "this idea sucks express", but bro I think we could offer the Broncos those four for nothing and they'd say no. Thomas Jones has some value, but probably less around the NFL than most Jets fans would admit. An aging running back coming off a career season who wants a new contract may not be that desirable.
Ok, I just called up McDaniels and made the offer, unfortunately he laughed and hung up the phone. On to the next completely unrealistic trade proposal.
you'd have to give them clemens if anything, TJ would of been an awesome idea if they didnt sign so many RB's already, TJ, Thomas and Clemens to the browns in a three way would be a nice idea, but then our run first offense would go out the window, and we'd have to draft a RB with our first, and everyone will still be complaining about a WR.
Why assume that Cutler is incapable of being a "safe" quarterback if he played on a team whose defense isn't as horrible as Denver's? Labeling a player a "gunslinger" when he's only ever played on a team where he has no choice might not be accurate. The Broncos gave up almost 30 points a game last year. Tough to be a game manager in that situation.
How about this for Cutler: 1. Revis 2. Rhodes 3. Harris 4. Mangold [/sarcasm] This is getting out of control. :breakdance:
Maybe we can raise $20 million in fan donations to have Gholston shipped out? To be honest, I would rather get Eddie Royal than Cutler (but I don't think we really need him either). I don't think we're going to need a QB like Cutler in order to win this year. One of our QBs will do just fine once we sure up the receiving core. We might even already have the wrs we need to make a game manager qb role work well for us. I'm personally pretty high on Marcus Henry, he reminds me a bit of Al Toon.
