PLEASE place all player's the Jets have visited with in this thread.

    Comment welcome too:)

I certainly hope so. They're probably just doing their due diligence....but as a Jets fan, I'm always afraid of some form of stupidity happening deep down.

I really like Thomas - he plays with a mean streak.

He'd be a solid pick in the later rounds.

Rhett Bomar is a "has been" ??? That's funny - I seem to remember him throwing for 27 TDs and 3,335 yards at Sam Houston.

So what if he made a bad choice - he's shown maturity over the last three years.

It's not like he'll be a first day choice - Bomar will get drafted, as a project player, in the 4th or 5th round.

Agreed. I remember reading somewhere that Bomar was great in interviews at the combine. Looks like the guy grew up and I certainly don't mind the Jets bringing him in for a look.

okay, and Jeremy Moses threw for 3,708 yds. and 36 tds for SFA, whats your point?

Bomar sucks dick regardless of his numbers, especially that his numbers came against kids who werent even cut out for a JV squad.

Is Moses going to ever be drafted higher than 6th or 7th. This team doesn't need a project or a QB who decisively bought his way out of a D-I school, and was head and shoulders above the rest in talent in the lowly Southland Conference. He chose to go to SMState for a reason, to shit on the competition.

Too bad he couldnt prove he could do that against real competition.

Maybe he has grown up based on his interviews, but then again, they are interviews. You practice on saying all the right things. Its a facade.

I wouldnt mind Rhett Bomar being used as a body so our defense could run through, im down for that.

He never really got that chance, did he? He did go 8-3 as a redshirt freshman...that says a lot.

In 2004, Bomar was the #1 rated pro-style quarterback recruit.

This draft's top two quarterback prospects:

Mark Sanchez was the #1 pro-style in 2005.

Matt Stafford was the #1 pro-style in 2006.

For you to say Rhett Bomar sucks is hilarious - just because he got thrown out of school, doesn't mean he sucks.

Have you ever heard of Joe Flacco? He couldn't move up on the depth chart at Pittsburgh, so he transferred to Delaware, which according to you has a bunch of players that can't even make the JV team.
