According to rumors on ESPN the Jets could be landing a deal as soon as tuesday that would send the rights of Brett Favre and Jets 2009 1st Round Pick and 2010 2nd and 3rd to the Broncos for Jay Cutler. I think this wouldnt be a bad deal if Favre decides to come out of retirement again he'd have Brandon Marshall,Eddie Royal,& Jabar Gaffney to throw to. http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/messages/chrono/14068711 ~ ~ i don't believe it but, i hope it's true. . .
If that's enough for Denver, I say do it........ Maybe they would take Clemens instead of next year's third
ESPN reports fake news every day of the week. What a scam that channel is. EDIT: Actually, where is the fuckiing SOURCE of that article? Some Pats fan on a message board? A moron Pats fan that has no idea Favre filed his retirement papers already? WTF is this kelly?
It's a pats fan that later admitted on the same board he made up fake news to rile up Jets fans. Close thread please. http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/messages/message/14078689
Jay Cutler-QB-Broncos Mar. 17 - 1:19 pm et The Jets are "champing at the bit" to acquire Jay Cutler from the Broncos, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The New York papers haven't gone this far, but have confirmed that the Jets are tracking Cutler's situation. The Plain Dealer speculates that the Browns would be willing to give up Derek Anderson or Brady Quinn in a three-team trade. Quinn knows the Broncos' offense well from his college days. Is it me or are we giving up too much? I'm ok with a 1st this year but a 2nd and 3rd next year? That seems a far too much of a stretch. Quite honestly if I'm the Jets I offer a late round pick this year and next year to Cleveland for Anderson.
http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-6-72/Favre-s-out--Cutler-s-in--Discuss-.html I agree with Cannizzaro and Glauber both. Cutler is a "whiny" "headcase". Case closed... I hope!
