Anderson is more appealing now that the Browns have paid his $5 million roster bonus. With his 2009 salary checking in at just $1.5 million, the Jets may come calling. He aint that bad. A third 3rd rounder won't bad. Its not like we find gems in the 3rd round year after year.
Think about what we could do if we had Anderson and Heyward-Bey!! We could have DHB run streaks all day. Sure, 9 times out of 10 the ball will land 30 yards away from him. But the other 10% of the time, the ball will hit him in the face as he forgets to put his hands up! Our team would be sick!
I like your attitude. We never find good talent in the 3rd round, so let's use that pick to grab a QB we know sucks.
if that's what they're asking it would be stupid not to make a deal. All the "hell no's" are smoking crack if you wouldn't take this guy for a late round pick.
I'm not a huge fan of DA but he had some help in having a bad season last year. Braylon had 12 drops when DA got benched, including the bomb against Baltimore that could have won the Browns the game. His stats could have been significantly different if Braylon didn't forget how to catch. It would be interesting if Anderson was on the team - havent' he and Clemens had some sort of rivalry since high school?
