The only reason I consider dhb an option is because of his speed. At 6'3 210 and being a speed demon would create havoc for DB's. If he reaches his full potential he will be the best WR from this class.

Yes I did, but that doesn't mean he has no positives to his game either. 6'3 210, did decent without any QB play and being in a run first system. He may not be the end of all WR's but I don't see him as Troy Willamson part 2 either.
absolutely. I can't stand how many threads are being created with DHB's name in it, comparing him to all these receivers. The numbers don't matter, whether its receptions, td's in college with receivers. I'm not a big DHB fan, but I really like Nicks. After that, give me Maclin, Britt and then Robiskie. But I don't see the logic in comparing numbers, I see the logic in comparing habits and game tape, and how much a wide out makes his team better.
Out of curiosity, how do you judge his potential? Thats a pretty bold prediction To "only consider" him on his speed, and correlate that to predicting to being the best wideout of this class...
I love players with speed. I don't give a shit if he can play football, but if he's fast, we need him. Simple as that. Can you imagine the possibilities? He can run down the field! Like faster than other guys can! He can stretch defenses too. It works really well until they realize they might as well leave him alone. F route running. When you're that fast, you're not running a route, the route's chasing you. I can't believe how closed-minded you all are being. "He can't catch." "He can't run routes." "He sucked in college." Don't you guys realize that none of that matters when you can run faster than other people???
Tell that to Troy Williamson, Chad Jackson, Sinorice Moss, Roscoe Parrish, Devery Henderson, Charles Rogers, Bethel Johnson, etc. Speed is important but football head is a necesity ! .15 sec at the combine does not guarentee a better career ! If the guy can not catch to save his life and run worse route than some high school receivers. DHB is grossly overrated !! I still like him as a utility player tough like Devin Hester or Ted Ginn Jr. (special plays like reverse, wildcat, screen pass, kickoff and punt return)... but don't count on him to makes important/clutch catch or to become a everydown receiver. Nicks, Britt, Maclin, Crabtree are twice the level of DHB but they just missed some straight speed without pads in a dome...
Pretty sure Mike was kidding. Anyway, after thinking it over these past few weeks, I might even choose Britt over Maclin. I don't think there should be any doubt that coming out, Nicks and Britt probably have the most potential to have an impact from day 1; they're very polished coming out. Almost every other highly rated receiver in this draft is essentially going in with some underdeveloped parts of their game or flaws that likely can't be fixed. Although I don't think either of them are physically gifted enough to eventually contend to be the top receiver in the NFL, I could easily see both of them consistently breaking the 1000 yard mark.
