I cant stand Madden anymore. It sucks. Why is Randy Moss unstoppable? He catches every pass. I was Steelers and Double and triple team him and he caught every batted pass and leaped over 3 guys to gain 275 yards and 3 tds. that game sucks!

The option, recruiting, the college football awards, impact players, momentum, and so on and so on... NCAA is a much better game.
WAS better. still is on the ps2/xbox. but both have been steaming piles since making the jump to 360/ps3. maybe next gen ncaa is less smelly shit than madden has been, but its still shit.
Madden has potential but EA really needs to start listening to the people that actually buy the product and fix the same mistakes that they release with the game every single year. Im really glad I didnt waste money on this garbage after hearing about the poor player progression in franchise mode.
In defense of Madden, it's based on teams' performance from last season and, last season, Randy Moss was doing stuff like that in real life.
Come on, Madden is the man...and if you are running online you can update your rosters and ratings to what is current
check out the madden thread, they have already shown a ton of improvement from last years game. totally new design team, totally new game.
I have it and think it's great. I haven't played any video games since September, though. I had bought the most recent NCAA for PS3 and only played it twice. Aside from looking at the stadiums (a lot of work was put into all that; look at Wyoming's stadium for the best example), the game was putrid. I think EA used a robot for the motion capture. No humans run the way the players run in that game. The NCAA franchise was better when it was on PlayStation in the late 1990s.
Yeah I heard they're improving it a ton from 09 and if I do decide to get 2010 it'll be after reading reviews from other players. I made the mistake of getting madden 08 the day it came out and im sorry I did.
ha yeah that was a really bad game. so far they have totally re-done wr/db interaction. they have changed a ton of animations so that qbs don't need to drop back at warp speed. they have added new animations so that the fullback dive isn't money anymore. that's just some of the shit. the new lead designer is doing a great job of interacting with the community on message boards so madden is actually going to be worth a look this year.
