Colts on decline? why is that? Harrison? they still got Wayne and Gonzo. Dallas Clark, Addai and Peyton.

We should stick with Rex for a while. Stability is very important in building a winning organization. It took cowher a long time to get his but look at what he built? We want to do the same thing.

Our offensive line should be pretty mean, which should help out our running game. Thomas Jones is coming off a great year, and though he's a bit long in the tooth, he should have at least 1 more good year left in the tank. On the other hand, we'll have ? at QB throwing to ?. I like Cotchery and Keller, but as of now the passing game is kind of nonexistent.

The defense has some nice material, and eventually will hopefully be our strong point.

So I'm going to say 7-9 just because we'll have a new QB, new coach, and new system, but we did load up last offseason and made some nice moves this offseason, so hopefully we're moving in the right direction.

And you're just one of countless "losers" who comes here to spew garbage. Tell me again about how much we needed Favre to stay for 2009.

    SIGN ME UP!

WE have NO QB, No WR threat...BUT NO QB!!

Jets are a 7-9 team right now...I like the thought of Ratliff, but put it in perspective...Not everybody is a flash in the pan QB, a lot more fails than successes.

Our division is always pretty tough. I woudl say you are right about the 9-7 or so record. What that would indicate to me is we actually have a QB on the team who did pretty well; if it turned out to be Ratty it would certainly keep my interest throghout the year.

This season all depends on 2 things really, the quarterback and the defense. As long as the quarterback is making smart decisions and playing very conservative football we should be fine. I feel that Jones and Washington are really gonna carry this offense in 2009. We need a nasty defense and Ryan knows what hes doing so I wouldn't worry about this to much. As long as this defense continues to play with the fire they had early on last season i think this team could win 10-12 games.

idk, altho our schedule was suppose to be weak last year, all those trips to the west coast could not have been easy. So this year we're looking at no Brett Farve, i don't actually think that's a negative (Can Celmens or Ratliff really be worse than 22 picks?) . A def upgrade in HC and DC and only one west coast trip next season (Oakland). We do face some formidable passing offenses, Pats, Colts, Saints, Texans. Those should be the biggest challenges to this Defense, the other times are mostly run first type teams which we should be excellent against. Maybe I'm too optimistic but I'm thinking 10-12 wins is possible.

You don't hate to be a nay sayer, that's all you've done since Favre retired. Go back to GB.

Without a consistent, reliable leader behind center who can win clutch games this team will not make the playoffs or have a winning record.

6-8 wins if the QB is garbage, and the odds are not in the young kids favor.
