Are you seething? Are you seething like it says we should be? http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/09/sports/football/09rhoden.html?ref=sports
I would not want TO on my team. He is a good receiver but he is a major pain in the ass. Rex is not the type of guy to put up with BS, thats why we lik him.
Not upset at all, I was so glad when they announced that they had no interest in TO. I refuse to root for TO. No matter what anyone says, his talent isn't worth it. He's a constant circus and tears teams apart. I hope Buffalo sucks so that I can see him start throwing everyone under the bus.
What a lazy piece of writing. He mentions the 40-year thing about a million times, then says the Jets should have signed Owens just like they signed Favre last year. Maybe Favre taught the team something about signing ageing players on the downward slope, plus TO was, is and always will be a cancer. Ridiculous article.
Did bringing in TO help their offensive line? This will help the Bills fill the seats for a few games, but they will miss the playoffs for their 10th year all the same. They will have another head coach next year and screw up Trent Edwards even more. Good job Bills!
We should have been in for TO , I don't buy into the reason why the Cowboys let him go. We do have some good WRs on the team , but scary ? No way. If Ratty or KC are going to be THE man in 09 , they are going to need this kind of calibre HOFer WR......and we passed.(for whatever reason) This article pretty much sums up what I feel about it.
please. Gus, I love ya man, but I want nothing to do with T.O. He's way way past his prime of playing, and in the middle of his prime for tearing locker rooms apart. Fuck what the article says, we are not at the bottom looking up. I'd be surprised if anyone in our division besides the Patriots beat us next season.
I agree actually. For a one year deal, why not? We draft a wide receiver in the first round this year, and give him some time to blossom into a guy who can make an impact for us for years. With TO in new york, as the only dominant receiver on our team, i think we would get him the ball enough and he would get his fair share of tds to keep him happy. all in all, a one year deal would have been worth it.
Love yer too  We won't know until TC starts , then we can all get our hopes up , only too see them dashed in Pre-season when '_______' gets a season ending injury to his '________' and we all wish that we had been in for TO. TO is not past it at all, last seasons stats with the 'Boys proved that. TO had nearly as many TDs as the rest of the WRs put together. Dallas WR's sucked ass last year. Their TE Jason Witten is a huge receiving target for Romo, which is why the other WR's dont get much attention. The other reason is the suck factor. Also T.O.'s numbers are way down from where they usually are. He is on the decline, there is no denying that.
Which was a reason for the 'bust up' that TO and other players confronted the CS about. Forcing the ball to Witten too often.
