Ok, this thread hijacking is getting out of control. I am going to permanently ban whoever does this next time.
sad we can't suspend people for horrible opinions. I have no problem with a totalitarian rule on this board. the IQ needs to be raised.. people need to ask themselves - "is this logical?" before they start a new thread, or even post for that matter. Then again, a person needs logic before they can do that.
Honestly...wow, is this site a life or death matter? Who cares if he thought the Jets could get Peppers with that trade, so what? Who cares? Its a freaking message board People need to get off the computer and get outside some more because its funny when people throw hissy fits over a post
if it was once a week no big deal... 5 threads a day of this garbage? it gets a little annoying. I come here for news and to discuss the issues of the team and the draft - not to have those good threads pushed out of the front page for spamming joke threads. And i have a lot of time to kill during the day considering i still go to school. So this place passes the time. This thread is slightly legitimate but when a brain is used, a 1st and the Cactus for Peppers is dumb.
I guess you could be right, but still...The guy is just having fun but oh well, I just thought everyone was joining up on attacking the man (Happens alot around here) and I thought Peppers was a FA? They give the the franchise tag or something?
Not everyone who posts on this message board is a football "Genious" It's just funny to me, people act like the ganggreen is the only thing they have in life
i'll never take the internet seriously... some people sometimes do act like its the same thing as being face to face with other people.. its not. You can be anyone you want to be on the internet.
when you propose actual trade scenarios, you are inherently claiming knowledge of the value of the pieces you are proposing. if you are willing to take the accolades of your own perceived brilliance, you have to be willing to take your lumps for your ignorance as well. sure, these values may not be absolute, but a look at the history of trades in the NFL will reveal a benchmark for those values, unless you aren't concerned with the plausibility of such scenarios and simply want to propose ideas whether they are realistic or not. really, what is the point of discussing that? that is as ridiculous as starting a thread about offering the Colts a 5th for Payton Manning -- who cares if it is realistic, let's just discuss it. I'm not sure how having an understanding of that somehow equates to the ganggreen being someones life. thoughts as long as the one I typed can pass through the brain in less than a second, hardly the time someone would spend on a site or a subject that equate sto them spending their life on it.
Try being a Rays fan with a sexy lady, lol...They will HATE you for that and I just freaking love it, I really do. lol
good - i'm glad that when you sign off of here it doesn't affect you in the least... we have something in common.
Who in the fuck made you candy asses so brilliant about what the fuck is relevant in the NFL. Peppers got the tag a 1st and a player is not out of the question idiots. You Bitches have the nerve to call me stupid when NE gave up a 4th rd pick for a disgruntled player named Randy Moss you think That was equal value? MotherFucker Peppers wants out of Carolina, he's disgruntled, he wants to play for a 3-4 team and he'll be a distraction in Carolina garunteed. I was merely making a suggestion bitch! if you think this thread is so ridiculas then move your bitch ass on to the next 800 threads asshole.
Well said... By well said I mean it sucks that your so stupid that nowhere in this idiotic diatribe is anything even sig worthy. Why the hell would the Panthers want Bryan Thomas is the first thing you need to ask yourself. The second thing you need to ask yourself is if all it cost for Peppers was the 17th and Thomas, why wouldn't a team in the top 10 IMMEDIATELY, call the Panthers and up the price. You know, it's only Julius Peppers, a cornerstone franchise player but sure Bryan Thomas and the 17th is going to more then top anyone else's offer. Seriously...calm down and stop posting until you better understand the board. I feel like you just thought of this when you took another bong rip and said, "Hey! Great idea!" It's not. It's a waste of everyone's time. I'm all for hypothetical stuations. Just not stupid ones. DISCLAIMER: There is nothing wrong with taking bong rips.
Does anyone really have faith that we can get anything with the 17th pick? It seems like now you all want to trade it away. I feel that Kenny Britt will be there and we should get him. Don't we need to address the WR situation before adding ANOTHER defensive player? I don't know about you guys, but, I'd like to see us score more than 200 points this season. I have always believed that "Defense wins Championships" Ok, fine. We have a new head coach who is one of the best defensive minded people in the SPORT. I have faith that he can build a solid D, but, it won't take just one off season. I know we have made great strides towards being a better D, but, we need O too. I say we try and make a move, try and move up in the 2nd round and get James Laurinaitis if you want a defensive guy. Even if it would cost us a 4th rounder along with our current 2nd. 1st round - Kenny Britt or Hakeem Nicks 2nd round - James Laurinaitis I'd be happy with that on a first day. DON'T TRADE THE 17TH PICK!
Why do people around here think Bryan Thomas has value? Do you think the rest of the league doesn't also realize he is a total POS?
