Here's why I don't think even Al Davis will take him on. He has a young QB now who is on the verge of being a bust. Bringing in TO to get into that kids head will guarentee he ends up a bust. I think even Davis can still see that.

I hear you but this is the point you are missing. Yes, it would cost 9 million if they kep him but if they kept him they would be playing him and they would get what they thought was 9 million of worth out of him. Now they are spending 9 million, still need to get another player and get nothing out of him. They are losing every penney of that money now. Or put another way. Say you have a guy that cuts your grass and you pay him 9 million bucks a year to do it. Now you decide to pay him the 9 million anyway but tell him not to bother cutting it anymore. Would you do that?
