Stop polluting the Jets forum with bogus threads, threads on subjects already being discussed, and non-Jets related topics. This is getting severely out of hand. This includes the not really funny "gord" threads. If this continues to be a problem, the offending poster will be warned and suspended if it happens again. Also, while we have your attention, thread hijacking is getting out of control in all forums. Please, take note that these infractions will now be more scrutinized. If you have any questions, PM a mod or admin.

I agree with this. I know mean them to be funny like a couple of weeks ago someone started a "Get rid of everyone and sign a punter" thread. Those kinds of thread just clutter the main forum and take up bandwith. They're not even funny.
The "Important Message" title to the thread is misleading. I do not feel that this message is even close to "important." The OP should be banned until the Jets win their next SB IMHW! DEW sucks!
Honestly, I'm tired of the joke threads, as well. I'm pretty sure I was tired of them after the first one. I get the point. There are some truly terrible suggestions on here, but cluttering the main page is just ridiculous. I've refrained from making ANY new threads in this forum just because there seem to be 3 or 4 on any conceivable topic. However, some of the thread hijacking is just about the only thing that keeps the Jets forum bearable right now. When you see a thread entitled "How about Byron Leftwich?", you know you're in for a ridiculous read anyway. Why not point out how retarded the thread is in order to encourage a little reflection and self editing for other posters before starting a new, drunken thread?
Good to see the board admins taking action here. I know it gets worse around this time every year, and taking steps to try and clean the main forum up is always appreciated.
Well said. Look some of the threads started recently were just horrible, I get it. But if you are going to start a bogus thread, at least let it be a little humorous. And don't start multiple ones.
Totally agree. Check out most of the other NFL boards. They have 15 threads started on the main page, all whining about the same thing. They never read first, they just hit the "new thread." When you have folks posting from all over the planet, it is difficult to expect that they will all have impulse control skills. TGG is the most organized mb in the NFL, because the mods actually give a sh*t and clean it up, constantly.

Apparently statistics show that 73 pictures of polar bears have been posted on TGG since the last insightful comment was made on any topic.
What was up with that? Another thing I noticed was people posting polar bears, lions, tigers and other fucking animals under water. I totally didn't know what the meaning behind those pics meant. Anybody care to explain?
I once posted a polar bear picture and said "this thread is now about polar bears" I dunno if i'm the true starter of the polar bears but if i am... my bad.
