Please sign Warner SF!!! We can grab Sanchez at 17! Or imagine the freefall if Stafford doesn't go #1.

I already had felt the 49ers would win the West in '09. If they get Warner they could compete for the NFC title.

ESPN is mentioning nothing about an offer from SF but says the offer from AZ is two years and 24 million and that will not change. The reason Warner is shopping is that he wants more. Years or money or whatever, he wants more.

i agree, i think the cards are in the driver's seat. They're gonna have to turn to Leinart eventually.

You are going to kill me at high noon.

I called the radio station to make sure that I heard correctly. The producer told me that Kurt Warner was visiting the 49ers, but he has not heard that an offer is firm yet, for 14 mill.

I am REALLY sorry I goofed. I am going to the Beltone hearing aide store immediately.:sad::sad:

Nah..he is taking a physical and he will probably get an offer. I just think it will be more than one year.

whoever Warner signs with in the NFC West...they will immediately become the favorite to win the division
after he takes SF to the playoffs he should head onto Seattle and complete his tour of the NFC West
jokes aside...the cardinals are playing with fire
if i were the 49ers...why not sign Warner...he immediately makes you a playoff contender and ruins your rival

but even if they sign Warner...he doesnt give them an answer for more than 1-2 seasons and at the most 3
they would still be wise to draft a young qb...although Warner may make demands around that after the eli situation he had earlier in his career
and with Sanchez' lack of experience at USC...he would still be a good fit

it isn't really 2 for 24, supposedly it is 1 for 10 with a team option for a second at between 11 and 14 depending on who you believe.

Not sure where this is going.

Just heard that Warner's agent is screwing things up, and Warner is not doing anything to stop it.

For some reason, it sure sounds as tho' he is holding out for the big bucks, even at his age.

As Tom Brady said, on 60 minutes, "I already make more money than I can ever spend, why would I want to make more." In that, he wanted to leave $$$ on the table, in order to get better players on the team. (and therefore, win more games.)

He got an offer from the 49ers, and he went back and made an offer to the cards, 2 years 23 6 mil guaranteed each year, the 49ers offer is bigger than that, so if the cards turn down Warner's offer he'll walk

Wow. Unbelievable. Warner said a million times, after the SB, that he would play for the cards or retire.

Now he may be playing for 4 diff teams in 8 years??? Sounds like his family of 9, likes to move around like nomads.

I am thinking that he got into a snit with Bidwell.
