If you look at the draft order, at 18 and 19 you have the bears and the bucs, between us the bears the bucs and the vikings, someone will trade up with a team like sd who dont really have alot of glaring holes and would want to trade back. Theres a huge dropoff after stafford and sanchez. Stafford will go 1 and if sanchez doesnt go at 10, people from the 11-16 range will be lining up to get him.
if he does somehow fall to 17...or if he's gone and someone is scrambling for Freeman then the Jets should look to trade down in both situations I would like to see the Jets stay away from a qb in the draft this year not to mention teams tend to get a ransom when a team is moving up to draft a franchise qb
I say we threaten SD w/ stealing their target if they trade w/ a team behind us. Seems like something the Ryan family would be willing to do.
they were both rated in the top 8-12 and they will fall. the only difference is that Sanchez has no shot at the #1 spot while Quinn was in talks with everyone at the top that year.
