...because I just don't want to do any more haha. If I were to continue I'd definitely eye some d-line depth (and considered Ron Brace earlier) RD 1: Hakeem Nicks, WR, UNC - Surest hands in the draft. Not the fastest guy, but great route runner and great hands bodes well for his future. Not a small guy and can certainly take a hit. Can make the spectacular catch. RD 2: William Moore, S, Missou - Former surefire first rounder has seen his stock drop recently, the Combine not helping any. I'll take his athletic ability over any other S in this class. Would consider Delmas here, but I'll take Moore. If Sean Smith is here at this point or have to trade up to grab him in the 2nd, without a doubt, take him over Moore or Delmas. RD 3: Andy Levitre, G, Oregon St - A solid all around player. Can provide valuable depth along the o-line and has the potential to develop into a starter.
I Like it. Moore is a beastly safety with Linebacker like tackling skills and Nicks is my favorite Receiver in the draft. He has great hands and has the size and playmaking ability to be our #1 for a long time.
Just substitute another safety for William Moore and you have yourself a top-of-the-line Day 1 draft for the Jets..
I'm a Moore fan. I don't buy into him sliding this far. His college production I feel outweighs this little falloff. I would prefer Sean Smith by far. But I know it ain't happening. I think Moore is too athletic to pass up.
