Not saying I'm exactly thrilled about it, but with this Scott mess, this is looking more and more likely...especially with reports coming out of Baltimore that Scott is demanding to be the centerpiece of their defense. At this point, an aging Ray Lewis is better than what we've currently got. Hmm, that sounds a little like something I was thinking last year, ha ha.
If the Ravens resign Scott, and it's true that Lewis isn't garnering much interest around the league, then we should be able to get him at a relative bargain.
signing lewis i honesly think would make gholston relevant again, seriously he wouldn't allow it any other way
If it comes to Ray, then sign him. If Scott bails and goes back to that shithole then so be it. Sign Lewis... and then when there is a young MLB out there that we want within the next 2 or 3 years sign him to a contract similar to the Scott one.
Fuck Scott and his agent that represents him. Get Ray Lewis. Give him a 3 year deal and be done with it. Move on to the next project
