    From what has transpired the agent agreed do the jets original 5 yr/40 mil deal without talking to Bart Scott.

    Now a bidding war has commenced.

    This is turning into a circus lol

    Boley is strictly a 4-3 linebacker - he was almost moved to safety as a rookie.

    I wonder how long it takes all this info to get from actually happening, out to us. I wonder if he's already signed and "making it rain" at the nudie bar in NY, while we are getting delayed info. Also, he could indeed be causing a rain event in a strip facility in Baltimore as well. Fun stuff, i agree with the guy that suggested to "call me when its over"

    I wouldn't go anywhere over 9 mil/yr, he's not worth it IMO. Lance Briggs only got 6 per year last offseason and I think he's a better player.

    Agreed. We just went thru this bullshit with Farve coming here just for the cash. You can take Scott back right now RF. I don't like the Jets getting played for suckers just to get the Raven FO to up the ante. Even if Scott signs now, it will leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

    I think this news just poisoned this deal..

    ...because his agent agreed to terms with the Jets. Bart Scott refused to sign anything because he feels he owes the Ravens because they gave him his first shot in the league.

    Favre didn't come here for the money. He would have made $7 million more if he took the Packers $20 to retire
