    No, your wrong.

Starting your tenure with a new team like this is a recipe for disaster. It sounds like he doesn't want to be a part of the Jets.

If it is true, they should pull the offer and sign Lewis (for less money)

I am sure this is all linked to the Lewis reports. The Ravens will shell out alot more than they offered previously now that they know the don't need to bring back Ray. This could get uuuugly. How embarasing.

He said all along that he would give the Ravens a chance to match because they're the team that drafted him. I'm sure the Jets knew this even if he had agreed 'on principal' to our contract offer.

This is not good...The extra $4 million in cap space they will probably match the offer. This kind of stuff always happens to the Jets. ugh

I think people should at least consider the possibility that most free agents give their former team a chance to match the offer they get from another team, followed quickly by the former team saying, No, followed by the free agent signing with the new team. I think it probably happens an awful lot.

    Forget him now.

    Sign Rey Lewis short term

Sign Leonhard, Ivy and possibly one of the cb's in greer, bartell, or mcfadden or bodden for shorter term.

Go after a DE like Canty or Igor

Draft get a WR, ILB, and DE. Then depth afterwards.

Why pull the offer? It's like any other job. You want a raise, you go somewhere else to see how much you could make and bring that offer back to your current job. Same damn thing. They don't match, you book it.

His agent has agreed to the deal - Scott hasn't signed anything yet...which is a bunch of bullshit on his part.

He's using the Jets to get more from Baltimore.

do we even know how accurate this is. it looks like the only source. and who know what is really going on untill something is offically announced.
but if it is true, it sucks but is understandable. but even if ravens do match who says we can up the anti a little bit.
