Is Bills CB Jabari Greer already a Jet? Boland posted in his own comments that it might be the case.

Well now it appears that the Bills Cb, Jabari Greer is real close to being signed
this deal appears will be done in a few hours.

    Stay tuned?..

I would be really happy with that. Between Kemo, Scott, Greer, and supposedly Leonard (not yet announced), it would be an incredibly solid offense. Get a DE and WR in the draft and we're looking at a very strong, young, talented team.

    I'm excited.

I don't think he is the best CB out there after some of the moves in the last couple of days.

i think the Jets will still draft a CB, but this kid is way better than anyone besides Revis from this past year.

I would love to see us get Vontae Davis but I don't think he'll fall to us.

    Fake news, sorry.

    Per Jetsblog...
It seems that some comments on Newsday were fake. We’re pulling our posts on the matter because they were just hooey.

Honestly I'd prefer Mcfadden or Bartell over Greer but would be happy either way.

    How about this....

Not that it is your fault but here Boreland writes a comment below his own article, which then another site comments on his comments below his own article. which finally we get a post on comments on a comment written by a writer under his own article.....

If Greer signs you guys can forget about drafting a CB in the first round. With the way the offseason has started I don't see any way possible we don't use the draft to improve the offense.

It depends on how much we beat it by. 4 isn't much to pay a CB. 5 or more is too much for him.

    Jets find replacement for Moore
    February 27, 2009
It looks like the Jets have found their replacement for Brandon Moore - Chris Kemoeatu.

The two sides haven't reached an agreement - yet - but the Steelers are dropping out of the bidding, according to a league source. Unless another team jumps in at the 11th hour, the Jets will have the big fella to themselves.

Kemoeatu is big (6-3, 344) and young (just turned 26 in January). The former 6th-round pick from Utah is a punishing run blocker, but he's not too quick on his feet and could be a liability in pass protection. Another concern is that he's only a one-year starter; he replaced Alan Faneca at left guard when Faneca bolted for the Jets last offseason. The Steelers' line really struggled last season, although it's hard to say if - or how much - Kemoeatu was responsible.

The Jets will use him at right guard.

This is going to be a busy day for the Jets. Aside from Kemoeatu and LB Bart Scott, who has agreed in principle on a five-year contract, they're showing interest in Ravens CB Corey Ivy and Bills CB Jabari Greer.
