What's next, "my dad can beat up your dad"? Sad. Seriously, am I talking to a kid here? How old are you?
Yea because the term Hemi means gay....whatever. If you must know, the name is the reference to the Dodge motor. But since you spend your days playing with Barbie Dolls, you would not know what a motor is.
yeah, guess what he isnt 32 anymore he is 34. my point is the end is near. Congrats to lewis for making it as far as he did, but Father Time beats everyone eventually and at as physical a position that Lewis plays, where if you dont make contact every play, you probably did something wrong, bodies can only last so long before they give out. It is my point, that Lewis will not be worth the money in his contract, and with 25 guaranteed, he is uncuttable after he falls off. Say worst case, we sign Ray Lewis tomorrow, and he has already hit his wall, and he cant do it anymore. we cant cut the guy because we would be on the hook for 25 million. Hell, if you think hes retiring before at least two years of that deal is up, you are nuts, you are even more nuts if you think he will restructure to give back money. You are three times as nuts if you think he would do what coles did, restructuring so we can basically let him go without being on the hook for his 6 million this year. So case in point Ray Lewis would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse a move for this franchise than Brett Favre was. we had the room last year, and we made a gamble, there wasnt anyone else out there who we could have paid to bring in and play for us. If we sign Ray Lewis for mega-dollars, it would be an idiots mistake. there are other guys out there that will contribute for the life of the deal where lewis simply wont. Jabari Greer, Bart Scott, Jason Brown, Houshmanzedah, I mean the the list goes on and on, thats not counting any potential QB vets we bring in, nor does it count our own guys who should be brought back like Mosely, and Bowens, for the right prices of course. blowing our wad on Ray Lewis is the worst move this franchise could ever make.
I hope he signs in Dallas... I don't want a 34 year old LB making $10million a season, when he MIGHT have 1 good season left in him.
Exactly, the odds of him having a good season again are slim. Would be an awful signing. Way too much money for a guy who would "give us attitude" and "mentor younger players".
Yeah, no. Ill take a football player who does his job, rather than a man who does a sweeeet dance during warm ups.
Please Rex Ryan don't Only worry about our D and have the O's the Ravens had over the years. I know they won A SB doing that but that was one of the great D's of all time. We would never get there with most of the players we got now.
Now is a good time to remind #1 Jets Fan that threads aren't his own personal thought bubbles. With good reason.
I thought this was going to be a thread about the OP's personal experience with our new head coach in the dark shadows of the Applebee's parking lot.
