no rex and tanny actually decided that with the economy the team needs to save money this year. we aren't even going to sign shitty guys to the vets minimum. the roster as you see it right now is as good as it gets. we are also trading all of our draft picks away because rookies get to much money. the jets suck. we wont win any games next year and this is all a crazy plan to sell lots of psl's.
Do you know how it goes? Listen, like other people have said, we cut a bunch of depth guys, and then two 31 year olds that are replacable (no one liked coles anyway). Maybe you do know, but do you know better than Rex? Probably not...so trust what him and tanny are doing. Wait two weeks, see what kind of holes we have then, and then look towards the draft. We have so much cap room, its a guarentee most of those holes are filled.
we got revis at 15...we'll prob get a good wr with our 1st round, and we'll get plenty of good players in FA...Leonhard, Scott, prob a WR too, maybe McFadden (CB)
Yea I do know how it goes. I been dealing with a losing team since 1986 when I went to my 1st game and became a Jets fan. I may know more than Rex since he has the same HEAD coaching experience as me. ZERO....... Maybe Tanny will suck Woodys ass more to keep his job by saving him money. Woody sucks hes a horrible owner has no passion for the game. He only cares about making us pay more to watch a bullshit team. Take my seaon ticket money along every elses to make him richer and make us miseriable. I dont trust that whole front office. Some of that money better go into Leon Washingtons pocket by giving him a long term deal. Looks like Woody is trying to get the money he spent last year back. I understand you have to make cap room but he better use the money and put smiles on all our faces within the next few days. I hope your right about trusting them.
You'll just have to wait it out and see. I am not in the least bit concerned about the people we've let go. Coles, Barton are aging vets on the decline. Favre well he retired, what are you going to do about that? There's nothing you can do. Brandon Moore may be back, but even if he's not he can be replaced. all the others were not even starters. I would not even worry about it and see what happens starting tomorrow.

Not all, I'm not even sure we'll hit the ground running like last year, but I'm certain we'll probably fill a couple holes in the FA period and then fill other holes in trades and/or the draft. I think honestly, Ryan and Tanny sat down and Ryan conveyed to Tannenbaum, this is what I need for my team, this is who fits, this is who does not. I'd say let's see what happens.
I was at the meeting. What they said was, they are going to go to the Jet forums and take polls and get the fans perspective on what to do. It was a really cool idea. :wink:
