Why is there no mention of Houshmandzadeh to the jets. We have the cap room, and we can save a 1st round pick and draft a corner. We sign moore.. now all we need is a QB. So we sign Garcia and have the 4 QBs fight for 3 spots. Then we find a LB and we win AFC east!

Before i didn't want him because that would leave us with 3 of the same style receiver but now with Coles gone i wouldnt mind Getting Housh in here along with Cotch and draft a burner.

Hey while we're at it since everyone wants to come to the Jets lets sign Ray Lewis and Bart Scott. Yeah now we sign Harrison just to be the 4th reciever and a special teams gunner, and then we say HEY JOHN ELWAY! Get your old ass out of retirement and climb aboard!

I would blow Tanny and Ryan (no homo) if they got Housh in here to replace Coles.

I'm not a big fan of Housh, we need to draft a WR with #1 potential. Hicks or Britt, we need to come away with one of these two now.

What about Marcus Henry on the practice squad?

He is 6'4", 208 or so, 4.56 in the 40. Averaged 18 yards per rec and had 10 TD's for Kansas n his senior year. Now with a year in the system... who knows?

I think TJ is a MUCH better option than drafting a WR. I don't get this shit about needing a #1. I mean, think about TJ playing with Chad. I'm sure there were times when Chad struck fear into people, but for the past couple years, TJ has been that entire offense, he IS their #1, in function, if not name. We've learned time and again that good savvy route runners can get open, no matter what their speed is. So I think TJ would be a great addition. He would be much like Coles (age, speed, hands) except a better route runner and less whiny. I like that.

the real ? is would TJ command more respect from opposing defenses than coles........

    IMO - yes

so would boldin as well. i think TJ wouldn't cost as much as boldin so he may be the more cap friendly option at this point.

bottom line - the jets are a running team and will pound you - just like the ravens.

Housh is very underrated on this board. The guy is nasty. Plus. think of the comedic possibilities of people trying to spell his name on the board.
